Dataworxs Announces Integrated Back End Speech to Text

Dataworxs Systems Limited today announces full digital dictation workflow integration to back end speech recognition software.

Mississauga, Canada, October 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Dataworxs Systems Limited announces it has successfully integrated back end voice recognition with its Audioworxs digital dictation workflow software.

To accomplish this integration, Dataworxs first had to overcome the issue of large audio files moving over data networks. Dataworxs software developers created a process whereby audio files are compressed when moving from the author to the voice recognition server and then back for editing by support staff. Multiple input devices may be used including digital handheld recorders, USB microphones, telephone dictation and even Blackberry devices or PDA phones.

Dataworxs empowers both the author and support staff by fully integrating user and routing profiles within their Audioworxs workflow software with back end voice recognition.

"We believe there is strong customer need for integrated back end speech recognition in the legal market today," states Dataworxs President and Company founder, Daryl Duda. "Many law firms are driving their support staff to attorney ratios higher, this technology will help achieve that higher ratio by relieving the support staff of the majority of transcription."

This technology actually learns and improves after edits have been performed by support staff.

Dataworxs recently celebrated their 5,000th license deployment and are already installed in over 100 law firms in the United States, U.K., Canada and Australia.
