San Jose, CA, October 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Eighth Annual Storage Visions Conference held at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada January 6 & 7, 2009 agenda includes notable speakers from new and established companies, including a keynote from NBC Universal. Rab, along with his team has built NBC Universal's first application to ingest content, process that content and then deliver it to a variety of distribution platforms electronically. He has developed many tools using open technology platforms to ingest, process and distribute content with a high degree of automation and quality.
The Storage Visions Media Serving Challenge will showcase digital storage solutions for delivering digital audio and video content from a central home server environment. Expert judges will award prizes to the contestants based upon various criteria. Information on the Challenge and the test process is located on the Storage Visions web site.
