Samurai Karate Studio to Host Anti Bully Workshop

Columbia, SC, November 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Samurai Karate Studio will be hosting an anti bully workshop on Saturday, November 22nd. There will be two presentations, one at 10:00am and 11:00am. All students of SKS are invited to attend, along with family and friends. The general public is invited as well.

"Bullying is a serious issue in our schools," commented Sensei Feldt, owner and chief instructor of Samurai Karate Studio. "According to the latest statistics, something close to 30 percent of school age children are confronted with bullying during the school year."

During the presentations, Sensei Feldt will review bullying strategies for chldren, ages 8-17 that will focus on avoiding bullying.

"Bullying is known to have a serious impact on a child's self esteem," commented Feldt. "It is my hope that by doing these seminars, I can reach out to as many children as possible and help them deal with this problem in an effective way that will allow them to succeed in school!"
