2009 Calendar to Raise Funds for Sierra Leone Schools

Pittsburgh, PA, November 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Phillip A. Windell,propreitor of paw fotograf, was a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone in the 1960's. Mr. Windell has created a 2009 calendar with 12 of his images from that tour. The proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go to Schools for Salone, a non-profit orgasnization dedicated to building schools and supporting teachers in Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone was the scene of a terrible civil war during the 1990's that devastated the country, especially the youth and nearly destroyed the educational system. Schools for Salone is working to provide the youth of Sierra Leone with the educational opportunities necessary for them to succeed in the 21st century.
