University of Mississippi Partners with Chapter Communications
Chapter Communications creates interactive website for Office of Dean of Students.
Champaign, IL, November 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Chapter Communications has enhanced and redeveloped the Dean of Students website at the University of Mississippi. The interactive website, dosolemiss.com, now provides a central location for the office that advises over 17,000 students at the university.
“Our students love it, they love the functionality of it” said Ben Williams, Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Mississippi. “Now we can provide a place for students to get forms and applications online. We can give them everything that they need and make it available at their fingertips.”
The Office of Dean of Students makes constant changes to the website on a week-to-week basis, and the ability to make changes themselves has played a huge role in its success.
“The support we have from Chapter Communications is great,” said Williams. “Before we started working with them, we had to submit requests to make changes to our website and it could take days or weeks to get done. Now, we can easily change text, photos, links and forms ourselves and can get it done a lot quicker.”
Known mainly for their history with Greek organizations, Chapter Communications has used the opportunity to branch out to serve more student and community groups.
“We were ecstatic when we signed with the University of Mississippi,” said Timothy J. Roth, CEO for Chapter Communications. “It just shows the flexibility of different functions our networks can provide. Whether it is for a large organization like the University of Mississippi or a smaller student group or Greek chapter, we can use our expertise and capabilities to provide them with the networking services that they need.”
Chapter Communications has provided interactive website and communication services to community groups and organizations since 2004. The websites allow organizations to easily edit their sites, send emails to their members, plan events, create sign-up lists and message boards, post jobs/internships, add photo galleries, pay bills online, upload files and view statistics of their website.
Chapter Communications has created more than 1,000 interactive and networked websites for Greeks, universities, churches and other student/membership organizations worldwide. In addition, Chapter Communications has developed The Greek Community and Greek Family Tree, which are the top two Greek Facebook applications with over 500,000 combined members.
