Contract Award Marks Information Manufacturing’s 6th Year in Support of Nuclear Regulatory Commission

Recent award to Information Manufacturing, LLC makes it one of the longest standing It contractors for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Fairfax, VA, November 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Information Manufacturing, LLC (IMC), a subsidiary of National Interest Security Company (NISC), was recently awarded a 5 year, $15.5 million dollar contract to provide document processing support to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This launches the sixth year of IMC support to the Agency-wide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).

“The team at IMC is proud of our work over the past five years assisting the NRC in successfully accomplishing their mission. We look forward to continuing that support for five more years and we appreciate the NRC’s continued confidence in IMC’s performance and capabilities,” said David Grogan, President of IMC.

“IMC maintains a strong record of winning contract recompetitions and expanding business on mission-critical programs by continuously integrating process improvements and driving down costs through operational efficiency and the use of cutting-edge technology,” continues Grogan.

ADAMS is an information system that provides access to all NRC image and text documents made public since November 1, 1999 to include regulatory guides, NUREG-series reports, correspondence, inspection reports, and others documents published by the NRC, NRC contractors, or NRC licensees. IMC’s industry experience, proven record of quality service, and investment and focus on the future of document and records management allows the NRC to leave the task of providing systems that facilitate rapid response to a solid industry partner, while the leadership continues to focus on the core mission of licensing and regulating the nation’s nuclear energy industry and protecting the public.

“As one of the longest standing IT contractors for the NRC, we are proud of the fact that IMC was chosen once again to deliver their value in information conversion and management,” said Andrew Maner, CEO of NISC. “Information Manufacturing is a strong part of the NISC family of companies and enhances our dedication to solving the most difficult and important strategy, program, and technology challenges facing federal agencies today.”
