The 2,000 square foot women’s boutique offers the Mack and Mack line of women’s apparel and accessories including jewelry, handbags, scarves, wraps, belts and outerwear designed by unique creative artisans from the U.S.
The Mack and Mack line consists of classic and elegant styles in comfortable, easy-care, machine washable fabrics. The line was created in 1995 by Robin Mack Davis and is now sold in approximately 65 boutiques across the U. S. Unlike mass merchants, every garment is made to order at Mack and Mack with attention to detail, expert craftsmanship and lasting quality.
Pamela Melton, owner of Mack and Mack Charlotte, previously worked in developing women’s apparel for Belk and Nordstrom. Melton noted that “Mack and Mack styles are favored by women who value the customization and personal service our store offers. At Mack and Mack Charlotte, we assist customers in fit and color selection to help create a wardrobe of classic everyday elegance, professional wear, travel wear and special occasion separates. We offer sizes from XS to 3X, but hard-to-fit customers receive special assistance to ensure a ‘made for you’ fit.” All of the Mack and Mack styles are cut and sewn in Greensboro, N. C. allowing special orders to be fulfilled within two weeks or less.
