Accent Construction Certified as Women's Business Enterprise

Chapel Hill, NC, November 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Accent Construction, a Triangle-based full service commercial general contractor, has announced that the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Southeast Region has certified them as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). The certification verifies that a business is at least 51% owned and controlled by a woman or group of women.

Lori Eichel draws upon her past career experience in business management, sales and marketing to serve as President of Accent Construction. Partner and CEO Jim Eichel has over 35 years of construction industry experience and oversees the technical aspect of Accent Construction’s operations.

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council is the nation's leading third-party certifier of WBEs for the private sector and is recognized and accepted by federal and government agencies as well as the majority of major corporations across the United States. To achieve certification, a business must pass a rigorous review process and site visit by a WBENC program manager. Accent Construction will utilize the certification to provide services to corporate and government decision makers responsible for supply chain diversity and procurement.

“I am very excited about earning WBE designation”, says Lori Eichel, President of Accent Construction. “We look forward to providing quality commercial construction services on time and on budget to businesses looking to work with WBE-certified vendors.”
