Anime Stars Appearing at New England Fan Experience Nov. 21-23
Johnny Young Bosch, Vic Mignogna, Don Frye, The Slants and many others will be meeting fans, signing autographs, performing and educating at the New England Fan Experience, Nov. 21-23, at the Hyatt in Cambridge MA.
Cambridge, MA, November 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Fans will get to meet celebrities from TV, Movies, Sci-Fi, Science, including stars of the new movie "Twilight" at the New England Fan Experience at the Hyatt in Cambridge MA November 21-23.
The New England Fan Experience comes to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge, MA, Friday through Sunday, November 21-23, 2008. The event features 5 tracks of entertainment including Pop Culture, Science, Sci-Fi, Anime and Gaming with activities, speakers, autograph sessions, Dine with the Stars, Videos, panel sessions, photo opportunities, collectibles, games, networking and a Lve concert by the J-Pop wonders The Slants.

Johnny Young Bosch is a martial artist who has made his fellow Korean-Americans proud. Best known currently as the young, feisty voice of Ichigo Kuosaki in Bleach, he is also a live action actor who will host his current live-action martial arts movie "Broken Bow" for its New England premiere at the AKE. In his early career he portrayed the famous Black Ranger, Adam Park, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, where he took on Kaiju of all shapes and dimensions. Other voice work he's complete includes Renton Thurston in Eureka Seven, Vash the Stampede in Trigun, and most recently as Nero in Capcom's Devil May Cry 4, and Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass.
Bob Eggleton has a long list of credits in the Godzilla community, from his outstanding artistic renderings of the greatest Kaiju of all, to his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of the minutia and intricacies of the Godzilla legends. Bob is also an award winning artist in the Science Fiction category, and well known for his Magic series of card art.
Don Frye began his acting career in one of the most memorable ways possible. Appearing as Captain Gordon in the Japanese production of Godzilla: Final Wars; he commands the Goten and allies with Godzilla in ways never before imagined. This 2004 movie entry to the coda of long loved daikaiju series was a stellar addition to the legend that is Godzilla. Fans will be able to join Don in a question and answer forum that will cover his entire career from Ultimate Fighting Champion to acting in the upcoming release Public Enemies which stars Johnny Depp as John Dillinger.
Ikeda Katsu - Ever wish you could hear your favorite anime or video game theme song live? Forged together by six friends determined to bring the rock back into the anime convention. Vic Mignogna's career is without a doubt one of a very active performer. Vic’s been a voice actor in Kaiju film of the fantastic Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris. In addition to his famous work as the voice of Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, he’s had the duty of bringing to life one of the anime screens biggest heart throbs, Tamaki Suou from Ouran High School Host Club. The Ouran HSHC English adaptation of the anime will premiere at the Anime Kaiju Experience. In addition to these performances Vic is a professional music composer/producer and veteran actor currently playing roles that include Fai D. Flourite in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Ikkaku in Bleach, and Yukito in Air. Vic has voiced characters in more than 100 shows and video games.
Sid Narged Author of "Anything I ever really needed to know I learned from Anime". A born observer, Sid Narged believes that everything has a lesson to teach if you are only open-minded enough to grasp it. This approach of learning a lesson from everything has allowed him to become something of a renaissance man; who has become well respected as a teacher, musician, animator, artist, author, and speaker. Sid has been an otaku for more than 25 years, and likes nothing more than giving back to the fans and industry he has enjoyed for so much of his life. Who said you never learned anything from anime?
The Slants in Concert. Hailing all the way from Portland Oregon, The Slants join them in their Anime Kaiju Experience Celebration. "The Slants is powerful and brilliant band with a bold sound that will melt your face clean off...
