Security Expert Launches ThreatChaos.com
Richard Stiennon, Chief Research Analyst for IT-Harvest, announces the launch of ThreatChaos.com.
Birmingham, MI, November 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Richard Stiennon, Chief Research Analyst with IT-Harvest, the leading independent IT Security Research Firm, has re-launched ThreatChaos.com. This site is one of the first stand alone IT security blogs started by Stiennon when he was VP of Threat Research for Webroot Software, Inc. an anti-spyware company.
The just launched site, www.threatchaos.com, is now host to Stiennon’s daily blog postings as well as original news stories. Stiennon continues his crusade of bringing the emerging threat landscape to the attention of IT executives so that they may be better prepared for what is ahead. Cyber crime, hacking by state sponsored organizations, and cyber warfare are among the topics covered. Stiennon is known for his non-conformist stances on many issues including attacks on ineffective technologies and practices. He makes annual predictions on new threats, many of which have come to be.
