DaleHollowFishing.com: The Authority on Fishing Dale Hollow Lake Goes Live
The weather is starting to cool down, but the fishing on Dale Hollow Lake just got a whole lot hotter.
Celina, TN, November 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- DaleHollowFishing.com is a new website dedicated to educating people about the exceptional fishing that Dale Hollow Lake has to offer, not only for Smallmouth Bass, but many other species of freshwater fish, and rewards visitors by giving away prizes based on a points system.
"Anyone can join as a member, and everything is free," says Preston Moore of one7 media and co-owner of DaleHollowFishing.com. "As a member you can collect points by clicking on points buttons in different sections of the site, answering short member surveys, entering contests, inviting friends to join, or by finding Bonus Codes in random places like our newsletter. Once a member has collected enough points, they can head over to the Prize Bin and redeem them for free cabin rentals, houseboat rentals, gift cards, guide trips, and of course fishing gear among other things. We'll be adding new prizes regularly and are working on something big." Also being planned is a tournament to be held near the end of March.
Visitors are encouraged to interact with the site and each other through member blogs, photo galleries, and the video gallery that's due to be released at the beginning of the year. As far as the fishing goes, that's where the other half of the equation comes in, and who better than "The Smallmouth Guru" & owner of Punisher Lures, Stephen Headrick. "Dale Hollow Lake is forever etched in the minds of many as a the ultimate destination for Smallmouth anglers thanks to D.L. Hayes' 11lb. 15oz. world record he landed back in July of 1955, but what many don't realize is that the Hollow is a prime location for many other types of freshwater fish as well.
Our goal for DaleHollowFishing.com is to put together the largest collection of articles and reports on fishing Dale Hollow Lake that a person can find in one place. We want them to learn about the huge Shellcracker and Bluegill and Crappie being caught by families on houseboats and the 8, 9, 10lb. Lake Trout these guys are boating. You'd be surprised at the number of people who pass up some great fishing out here because they think they need to be hitting the banks hard at night in a bass boat, but it's just not true. Some of the best fishing on Dale Hollow is right around the corner, and it's something the whole family can learn and enjoy...Float n' Fly."
Everyone is encouraged to log on to the website and join. Write a blog, share your Dale Hollow stories if you've been there, or collect some points and get a free vacation to create some. Learn what to throw and when to throw it, or help someone looking for some answers. Learn about legends like Billy Westmoreland and "the one that got away", or how BASS got started. Most importantly, just have fun.
