UN Official Lauds Qatar Jordan Efforts to Strengthen Mutual Cooperation
Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud said that a series of talks held at Emiri Diwan chaired by H.E. the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani and Jordan's Prime Minister Eng. Nader al Dahab will add new dimensions in Qatar - Jordan relationships.
Doha, Qatar, November 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Goodwill Ambassador for the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM), the Permanent Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud has welcomed the initiatives taken by Qatar and Jordan to open new avenues of cooperation and coordination.
He was reacting a day after of the visit of Jordanian Prime Minister, Nader Dahabi to Qatar on an official visit.
In his Press Statement, Dr. Naseer Shahir homoud said that a series of talks held at Emiri Diwan chaired by H.E. the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani and Jordan's Prime Minister Eng. Nader al Dahab will add new dimensions in Qatar - Jordan relationships.
He said that the scheduled visit of the Jordanian Monarch His Majesty King Abdullah II to Doha on November 23 will open a new phase in relations between the two countries.
He added that the visit was very significant as the two countries have historic relations.
Expressing optimism, Dr. Homoud said the His Majesty’s visit would positively evolve this relationship at climax which is certainly for the interest of the citizens two nations.
Dr. Nasser hailed the informal gathering of Jordanian nationals with the Prime Minister.
