ShindigZ Teams Up with the Ants Army Kids Club
ShindigZ teams up with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants basketball team to provide the “Ants Army Kids Club” a free organization that provides discounts and opportunities for fun for kids ages 12 and under. ShindigZ and the Mad Ants hope the club will be a way for kids in the community to have a great time in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
South Whitley, IN, November 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Family fun just got more affordable thanks to a partnership with ShindigZ and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. In conjunction with this partnership ShindigZ is proud to present the new “Ants Army Kids Club.”
The Mad Ants, a Fort Wayne NBA D-League team, became an official team during the 2007 basketball season, and are affiliated with the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers.
“As a season ticket holder for the Ants, I saw the great energy and enthusiasm for the team and how much my own children enjoyed the experience at an Ants game,” ShindigZ owner, Shep Moyle said. “As I looked around and saw the party atmosphere and the smiles on kids’ faces, I wanted to find a way to help bring that fun and excitement to more children in the community. The Ants are a wonderful addition to our community and I believe all of us in the business community have a responsibility to help make this team a success.”
The “Ants Army Kids Club” was designed for kids 0 – 12 years of age, and is Free to join. Membership includes great prizes and benefits for young Ants fans. Members of the “Ants Army Kids Club” will receive membership cards that are good for receiving discounts at area restaurants and stores. In addition, members will receive 10% of Mad Ants merchandise, free upper level sideline tickets to any weekday game (Mon. – Thurs.) and half off upper level sideline tickets on the weekends (Fri. – Sun.), post-game autographs, and more. Kids will also receive a special invitation to the Ants Army end of the season party.
“The goal of the kids club is to provide the opportunity for the kids of Fort Wayne to establish a closer relationship with the Ants and the players, and to be able to attend games regardless of financial need,” Moyle said. “It’s all about bringing more fun to life which is the motto of our company. Our kids deserve to smile as much as they can. The kids club will bring more fun to their lives and provide some special and unique surprises for the members in the coming years.”
