LS Club in Prague - the New Home for CEOs
Situated on a quiet cobble-stone street, in a non-descript building, man can find Prague’s newest haunt for the business elite of Central Europe’s capital.
Prague, Czech Republic, November 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- When entering LS Club (www.lsclub.cz), man could quite easily mistaken the city’s only member’s club for a 5-star hotel. It has all the right ingredients, including the doorman, a full-service concierge, a contemporary library, private board rooms, a suave cocktail lounge and the city’s leading eclectic Asian restaurant- run by former Nobu chef, Paul Day. Understated beyond belief, the attention to service detail in this little-known club is executed by an impressive international team- most of which hail from leading hotels from as far away as Sydney and New York, to London and of course, Prague.
The atmosphere during the day seems somewhere of a cross between a VIP airport lounge and the lobby of a luxuriously appointed hotel - complete with fresh pastries baked throughout the day, worldwide news showing on the numerous plasma screens bedecking the walls and WiFi throughout. At night, the club takes on completely different vibe, and as the ties loosen over the martinis, it transforms it’s self in to a supper-club style atmosphere, rivaling the hippest clubs in Europe.
Unlike other clubs in London, New York or Paris, LS Club does not intend to cater for any tourists- whether they’re celebrities or not. “Whilst no doubt we will always have a number of celebrities who accompany our member’s as guests (due to the strong film industry here), we’ve built this club around the needs of Central Europe’s business community.” says Greg Gibb, one of the founding members. “We created an environment for ourselves and the rest just followed.”
As with anything good, it’s hard to get. LS Club is by invitation only- meaning that unless one of the existing member’s invites a new member, there is a little chance of experiencing Prague’s most elite venue. And perhaps that’s why it’s kept so non-descript.
