Environmentally Friendly Packaging from Manchester Advertising Agency

Manchester, United Kingdom, November 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- AWA, the Manchester advertising and marketing services agency, has devised the packaging for a new brand of environmentally friendly loft insulation being sold in B&Q stores across the UK.

Earth Blanket is a carbon neutral, high performance loft insulation manufactured by Knauf Insulation. The product is made from recycled glass wrapped in recycled film. The exterior packaging designed by AWA is made from recycled plastic.

The product features heavily in an energy saving promotion that was launched by B&Q in October.

AWA has a track record in providing packaging design for Knauf Insulation. The Manchester agency developed the branding and helped launch the company’s Space Blanket DIY loft insulation in 2002, since when it has provided advertising and design services to support a number of the firm’s consumer and trade products.

AWA employs over 40 members of staff at its offices in Manchester.

Other clients for whom it provides advertising and marketing services include Franke UK, United Utilities, Britannia Building Society and Connexions Cheshire and Warrington. AWA is also one of the agencies rostered by Business Link Northwest.
