Colmek Introduces the 8225 Analog to Digital Converter Available in cPCI Form Factor
The new low noise, wide gain range 8225 analog to digital converter has been released by Colmek in the cPCI form factor.
Salt Lake City, UT, November 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Colmeks newest piece of equipment, the 8225 analog to digital converter is now being released on the cPCI form factor. After being released last week as a standard PCI card, it now features a highly programmable, wide gain range and low noise application for converting your analog to digital signals. The most practical functions include vibration measurement, sonar processing and analysis.
In addition to the pin-point precision, a data stream accurate to better than 1/2% or 0.05dB, and multiple board synchronization (up to 4 max) allowing 32 channels at a 128 K sampling rate, the 8225 board now includes an anti-aliasing filter, FIR decimation and high pass filters which in turn lets you focus completely on the kind of data you want to sample.
The simple and straightforward user interface makes it easy to examine data and modify its card settings. Typical environments it would be used in would include: labs, military platforms and in several instances of oceanography.
The low noise and wide gain range of the 8225 make it a handy tool for technicians, engineers and scientists. It is ideal for those who need to be meticulously correct with the smallest amount of noise disturbances to capture accurate data.
