Dr. James Dragun has addressed the extent, risk, and cleanup of chemicals at sites of national and international concern. He was recently recognized for his work in this area.

On October 21, 2008, Dr. James Dragun received the “Life Achievement Award” from The Annual International Conference on Soils Sediments and Water. Dr. Dragun has been a featured speaker/instructor at the international conference for more than 15 years.
Dr. Dragun was recognized for his work in solving complex environmental issues. An authority on the “fate of chemicals in the environment,” Dr. Dragun has written and lectured extensively on the science of environmental remediation. He has evaluated sites of national and international concern including Dioxin in Missouri and the oil lakes in Kuwait caused by the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Dr. Dragun has also been an invited instructor in Canada, Italy, and Japan.
