LI Entrepreneurs Slated to Speak at the Association for Accounting Marketing Summit 2006

Hauppauge, NY, June 02, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Elaine De Luca Byrnes, president/CEO of Hauppauge-based Lucé Creative, Inc., and Adrian Miller, president of Port Washington-based Adrian Miller Sales Training are slated to speak at the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) annual conference being held in at the Hyatt Regency in Denver on June 14-16, 2006. The duo will be addressing their audience on “Traveling the Crossroads of Cross-selling.” They will demonstrate how to lay the foundation for building a cross-selling culture by qualifying existing clients and quantifying revenues generated by new and existing clients.

Elaine De Luca Byrnes is an award-winning marketing communications professional with over 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations and graphic design. Elaine was the recipient of the Long Island Works Coalition – Workforce Builders Award in 2005, and was recognized by the Long Island Advertising Club and Long Island Business News in 2002 as the recipient of the prestigious "Top In-house Marketing Executive Award for a Medium-Sized Firm.” She was a finalist for the award in 2003. She also received the AAM Marketing Achievement Award at the Association for Accounting Marketing Conference, held in Toronto, Canada in June, 2001. Elaine has been active nationally in AAM, having chaired its Marketing Achievement Awards Committee and served on the planning committee for its annual meeting. She has also chaired the marketing committee for BKR International, a global network of more than 137 independent accounting and business advisory firms in over 60 countries around the world.

Elaine is executive vice president of Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI) and she is a member of the Smithtown High School Industry Advisory Board and mentors high school students. Elaine was recipient of the prestigious Honorary Ph.D. recognition in May 2006.

This recognition acknowledges those who have made significant contributions to the School of Business programs through their many hours of service and commitment. She is also an officer and chairs the public relations committee for DECISION, Women in Commerce and the Professions --- a networking organization for community-service oriented business and professional women.

Adrian Miller is the President of Adrian Miller Sales Training, a business development training and consulting firm that she founded in 1989.

Adrian Miller provides practical, hand-on, customized skills training programs, based on real-world selling situations and specific client needs. Her training programs have proven to be highly effective for traditional sales reps as well as "rainmakers" in professional services firms.

Adrian works nationwide with clients that range from Fortune 500 companies to smaller entrepreneurial firms. Her clients encompass a vast diversity of industries, including financial services, publishing, biotechnology, professional services, healthcare and technology. She conducts group programs as well as individual sessions for sole practitioners

Adrian is a nationally recognized lecturer, a sought-after conference speaker, and an accomplished author. Frequently published in major business publications, her articles cover a broad range of sales-related topics and she has a new book coming out this Summer. Adrian is a respected professor as well, who lectures at the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies, teaching courses on script writing and sales prospecting.

A leading force in the local business community, Adrian is on the Board of the Long Island Entrepreneur's Group, and is the New York City coordinator for Company of Friends (Fast Company magazine's global reader's network). An active community leader as well, Adrian volunteers her time working with many community and charitable organizations.

In her spare time Adrian can be found cheering at her son’s college ice hockey games and walking 39 miles in the Avon Walk against Breast Cancer.
