MessageExport Add-in Lets Users Export Email from Microsoft® Outlook® 2003/2007 to PDF, Other formats
MessageExport™, an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 that improves Outlook’s email export and conversion capabilities. With MessageExport, users can select any number of messages in Outlook and then convert them to other formats, including .msg, .eml, .mht, .html, .pdf, .jpg., .tif, .gif. New Sharepoint integration allows users to export email to a Sharepoint library.
Moorhead, MN, November 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Encryptomatic LLC today announced the general availability of MessageExport™, an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 that improves Outlook’s email export and conversion capabilities.
With MessageExport, users can select any number of messages in Outlook, convert them to other formats such as .msg, .eml, .mht, .html, .pdf, .jpg., .tif, .gif, and then autmoaticlaly copy those messages to a network folder or Sharepoint Server library.
MessageExport saves users time by automating manual processes, and can even print exported messages and extract file attachments.
“We developed MessageExport in response to feedback from project-based workers in professional occupations, such as law, architecture, and consulting,” said Darren Leno, President of Encryptomatic LLC. “MessageExport automates what may have been a multi-step process to export, format, copy and rename important email messages that must be shared or archived. It’s a good addition to our portfolio of email encryption and viewing software products.”
MessageExport can be used immediately after installation. Users just select the Outlook emails they want to export, and then choose a conversion format from the quick access toolbar. MessageExport will prompt the user for a location to store the files.
For even greater utility, MessageExport users can quickly create their own custom “Export Profiles” that that store a variety of preferences that could be applied to a specific project. For example a worker engaged on a project could create an export profile that specifies a shared network location where files will be stored, a preferred message format, a specific file naming scheme, and even zip compression or password protection. MessageExport could also be configured to take specific action after export, such as invoking a batch file or application. To use this custom export profile, the worker simply selects an email (or emails) in Outlook and then chooses the export profile from the MessageExport quick access toolbar; the messages are then instantly formatted and copied to the correct location.
MessageExport can also be used to backup, archive and save Outlook email messages.
