The Golf Fanatic's Guide to Hawaii Hits Bookshelves

Kailua-Kona, HI, November 15, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Hot Tub Publishing is proud to announce the publication of The Golf Fanatic’s Guide to Hawaii, a travel guidebook for golfers headed to the Aloha State.

“I’m not going to lie – it was a dream job traveling to 50 of the state’s top courses,” said Bryan Fryklund, the book’s author. “Hawaii offers such a rich, diverse golf experience.”

Fryklund rates and describes courses on six islands in The Golf Fanatic’s Guide to Hawaii, sharing tips for play from the PGA pro (or similar expert) at each course and providing directions, phonetic pronunciations and descriptions of key holes, including “the hole you’re most likely to choke on,” as well as the all important “19th puka (hole).” Color photography throughout the book makes it part guidebook, part coffee table book.

PGA star Ernie Els wrote the foreword to The Golf Fanatic’s Guide to Hawaii.

“I’m so honored that Ernie Els, a golfer who I’ve always admired, wrote the foreword to my book,” Fryklund said. “‘The Big Easy’ is such a class act. I really couldn’t be happier.”

The Golf Fanatic’s Guide to Hawaii is the first book in the company’s line of Fanatic Guides. One percent of the proceeds will be donated to Hawaii Literacy.
