City of Industry, CA, November 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- When it comes to waterproof submergibility, measured according to the EN60529 IP rating system, most manufacturers offer either the standard splash-proof IP54 rating, or the bare basic IP67 submersible rating - just 1 meter’s depth for 30 minutes. As for dust-tight protection, JetRock series also passed the dust-tight test. The enclosure under test is supported inside the test chamber and the pressure inside the enclosure is maintained below the surrounding atmospheric pressure by a vacuum pump, e.g., due to thermal cycling effects. The test continues for more than 8 hours. According to the achievement of IP68 rated protection, JetRock series can survive under the harshest environments and overcomes the challenges of extreme environments.
