Waveguide Consulting Celebrates Anniversary with Opening of Third Location

Atlanta, GA, June 03, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Waveguide Consulting is pleased to announce the opening of its Columbia, S.C., location on the eve of the company’s tenth anniversary of service in the audiovisual, acoustics and data telecom industry. Brad Beattie, CTS-D, whose extensive AV systems design experience includes technology management on Waveguide projects with MacDill Air Force Base Special Operations Command (SOCOM), the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and the University of South Carolina Law School, will serve as director for the Columbia office. Mr. Beattie will be joined by AV industry veteran Will Vazquez, CTS, whose 21-year technology career includes project management on large-scale AV systems in government and military training facilities and learning centers; higher education institutions; and corporate offices and communications centers, among others. This is Waveguide’s first location in South Carolina and third in the Southeast.

Atlanta-based Waveguide Consulting opened its doors June, 17 1996, with two employees providing audiovisual and acoustical consulting services for higher education institutions, government and military buildings, medical and healthcare facilities, and corporate boardrooms and training facilities, among others. In the 10 years since its inception, Waveguide has grown to 30 employees in three offices in the Southeast and has added software programming and ongoing technology support to its core audiovisual technology consulting services.
