Los Angeles, CA, November 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- MediArt Productions announced the 3-D Indie Film Expo on November 24, 2008. The 3-D Indie Film Expo is designed to bring into focus the independent 3-D filmmaker and the inventive spirit of the 21st Century pan-dimensional artist and their creations. This first-time 3-D Indie Film Expo will be part of the larger four-day Paso Robles Digital Film Fest and will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm (PST) in the Park Ballroom at 1232 Park Street, Suite 200, downtown Paso Robles, CA.

The 3-DIFE will offer over two-hours of immersive, three-dimensional short film screenings, featuring such award-winning independent 3-D shorts, stereoscopic documentaries, as well as the fantastic commercially produced 3-D projects. A live gypsy jazz band will be on hand, along with finger foods & artisan chocolates, accompanied by a wine tasting of vintages from local Paso Robles wineries, to set the atmosphere for a casual networking and Q & A.

Another feature of the expo is "The Desktop 3-D Revolution" panel, in which six world-renowned stereo media experts will be discussing the emerging future of 3-D cinema, from production to delivery. Moderated by the famed 3-D historian/filmmaker and 3-D comic book artist Ray Zone, this 1 hour panel will cover Indie 3-D film making and photography applications for education, advertising, instruction, entertainment, home theater technology, and 3-D online.

Sponsors and exhibitors will also be in attendance demonstrating 3-D monitor displays, immersive high definition video goggles, revolutionary new stereo camera systems, and a variety of 3-D production & presentation tools, as well as live high-definition 3-D video demonstrations.
