Huskers Baseball Fundraising Spaghetti Dinner to Support Northland Community Food Pantries

Kansas City, MO, November 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The 9 and under Huskers Baseball Program is hosting their 1st annual Fundraising Spaghetti Dinner at Shoal Creek Community Church in Pleasant Valley, MO on November 29, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The Huskers are asking friends, family, neighbors, and attendee’s of the dinner to bring any canned item to the fundraising event to support the shortage of food in the Northland pantries as we are moving into the holiday season. The Huskers have also invited the local Fire and Police Departments to attend the dinner free of charge as part of their community outreach.

The cost of the event is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for Children and includes salad, spaghetti with meat, bread, dessert and drinks. The event will also include a raffle and silent basket auction.

The money raised from the event will go towards uniforms, equipment, facility rental, and tournaments.
