SOS Children’s Villages was founded in 1949 to provide families and homes for orphaned and abandoned children. Today, more than 73,000 children have a loving and secure home in over 473 villages in 132 countries around the world. Their mission is to build loving families for children in need, help them shape their own futures and share in the development of their communities.
