NYC New Book Soirée: Launch of Wake Up Women: Be Happy, Healthy & Wealthy Hosted by The Corcoran Group Thursday November 20
The "who's who" of the female business and entrepreneurial community celebrated the launch of the much anticipated book Wake Up Women Be Happy Healthy & Wealthy which was hosted by the Corcoran Group Thursday, November 20th in an exclusive Soho penthouse.
New York, NY, November 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- An evening of celebration and connection, November 20, 2008 was the official launch of the first Wake Up Women book BE Happy, Healthy & Wealthy. Executive women, successful entrepreneurs and women of influence along with media and press from the New York City area joined the creators and authors of Wake Up Women in this casual evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and great networking.
The Corcoran Group, well known for its high-end real estate hosted the evening at one of their exclusive SOHO penthouse listings. It is fitting that a real estate brokerage firm founded by a woman and now operated by a woman, Pamela Liebman, would step forward to host the evening celebrating this new book series for women by women. Pamela Liebman has been President and Chief Executive Officer of The Corcoran Group, the country’s premier residential real estate company, since 2000. Beth Frazier one of the original Wake Up Women authors was the inspiration and visionary behind the New York City book launch and is a Corcoran Group Real Estate Agent.
Staying inside the theme of women supporting women, The evening also showcased CARE the international non-profit organization providing support and education to women and children across he globe and spotlight two new films featuring and focusing on the impact of women: A Powerful Noise, which premiered to a sold out audience at the Tribeca film festival and The VOW, an upcoming film featuring international women of inspiration and influence. The evening also featured a young female violinist, Shayna Skibinsky, from the Manhattan School of Music.
