lot# 342 Clown (oil on carton laid down on cradled panel, painted circa 1945, signed by Isabelle Rouault on the reverse, 27 x 19cm) is drawn with heavy and bold black defining lines and glowing colours and beautifully represents the artist style which is suggestive of influence form his early experience as a glass painter.
