Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) Announces Investment Seminar
Presidents of multimillion-dollar corporations hold exclusive seminar on the power of angel investing.
New York, NY, June 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), has announced that the organization is hosting a one-day private seminar titled “The Power of Angel Investing,” a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for successful entrepreneurs who are interested in learning more about the intricacies of angel investing. Bill Payne, an entrepreneur in residence at the Kauffman Foundation, will lead the workshop. The seminar will be held on June 6 at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP located at 750 Lexington Avenue.
The seminar provides a comprehensive overview of angel investing for private investors with limited or no angel investment experience. The seminar is offered in a protected environment without solicitations from service providers and entrepreneurs looking for angel financing. In order to provide adequate opportunities for interacting with the experts and other participants, registration is limited to 25 individuals. For additional information, please contact Adriana Pentz at Adriana@womenpresidentsorg.com or call 212-688-4114.
“There is an abundance of educational workshops that focus on pitching angel investors, but few that coach accomplished business leaders who aim to become angel investors,” said Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., president of the WPO. “We are proud to be able to partner with the Kaufman foundation and offer such a substantive seminar for our members.”
