Nationally known dynasty trust expert Steve Oshins was recently interviewed by former Good Morning America Co-Host Joan Lunden on dynasty trusts.
Las Vegas, NV, November 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Former Good Morning America co-host Joan Lunden recently interviewed nationally known estate planning attorney Steve Oshins on dynasty trusts. The interview will be made into a DVD to be distributed nationally by financial planners as a means of catering to their wealthy clients and prospective clients. The video is currently in pre-production and is targeted for national distribution on January 1, 2009.
The dynasty trust is the most valuable piece in the estate plan because it can be drafted under Nevada’s special law written by Mr. Oshins to protect the family assets from estate taxes, creditors and divorce for as many as 365 years.
Mr. Oshins wrote the law and was able to get it passed in Nevada’s 2005 legislative session. It became effective as of October 1, 2005. Prior to that date, Nevada had a law similar to most other jurisdictions which allowed dynasty trusts to last for only approximately 100 to 120 years.
Mr. Oshins has provided a number of free articles about dynasty trusts at his law firm’s web site, www.oshins.com. No password is required to access the articles.
