Carrie Mitchell Joins Women Presidents’ Organization

WPO members meet to discuss business interests, experiences and strategies. The WPO is headquartered in New York City and currently boasts more than 80 active chapters and more than 1500 members across the U.S. and in Canada.

Carrie Mitchell is president of ASAP Office Supply. As President, she cultivates new business, contracts with suppliers, and oversees financial management. As a business owner, Carrie is active in women’s business associations. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a nonprofit membership organization for women entrepreneurs and Chix in Business, a grassroots organization of women business owners in the Triangle. She participates in the wider Triangle business community with membership in the Business Leader’s Club, an invitation-only network of local business owners, and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Triangle’s largest membership organization for businesses. Carrie, a mother of two, is involved in her children’s education. She has served as president and vice president of the Wildwood Forest Elementary PTA and was a stay-at-home mother for ten years. Carrie graduated from North Carolina State University in 1991, earning a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education. She taught seventh and eight-grade students in North Carolina for five years before becoming a stay-at-home mother. A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Carrie resides in Raleigh, N.C., with her daughter, Caroline, and son, Jack.
