Ontario’s Vicinity Jobs Network now provides online access to a searchable library of hundreds of non-advertising career advice articles.

Accessible at www.vicinityjobs.com/tips, it provides insight into the local job markets and recruiting practices to people looking for work in the Greater Toronto Area.
Local residents can search through a library of hundreds of professionally written career advice articles covering various job-market topics, from resume writing and job interviewing techniques, to general employment market and economic trends. All articles published currently are contributed by community partners of the Vicinity Jobs Network, including the Newmarket Employment Resource Centre, the YorkYouth Program of the York Region District School Board, and Mark Swartz – a renowned Canadian career coach and author of the book “Get Wired, You’re Hired”. Mark Swartz also helped to shape the service, by helping define the categories and features available to job seekers.
