Electronic Payments Leader Recognized as One of the Best Places to Work in Denver
PaySimple Acknowledged as one of the Top Ten “Best Places to Work” in 2008 by the Denver Business Journal.
Denver, CO, November 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- PaySimple, the leading provider of SaaS (Software as a Service) on-demand electronic payment solutions for small businesses, is proud to announce that it has been recognized as the sixth best medium-size company to work for in the Denver-area for 2008.
The award came from the Denver Business Journal, which teamed up with Quantum Market Research of Wichita, Kansas, to select winners based on the results of employee surveys. The awards were given in three categories based on company size (by number of employees): small companies, 10 to 25 employees; medium companies, 26 to 90 employees; and large companies, more than 91 employees.
Winners were chosen by a numerical score based on employee measurements of 40 attributes known to drive employee engagement. Each survey question was given value between 1 to 6 points, and was broken into 1 of 10 categories: team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement, and people practices.
PaySimple can attribute the majority of its work environment to the positive energy of its most valuable resource, its team members. In addition, catered Friday lunches, participation in team sports, relaxed dress code, and weekly recognition programs all help create an award-winning environment. “We’re all about positive energy flowing around the office,” said Elissa Beckman, Empowerment Director.
