Rotary Club of Chennai Velachery: Vocational Training Beneficiaries Felicitated
The Rotary Club of Chennai Velachery felicitated the beneficiaries of the Vocational Training Courses at a grand function held at Madras Race Club, Chennai, on Sunday, 23rd November 2008.
Chennai, India, November 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Rtn. S.V. Veerramani, Assistant Governor of R.I. District 3230 felicitated the beneficiaries of the Vocational Training Scheme of the Rotary Club of Chennai Velachery at a grand function held at Madras Race Club, Guindy, Chennai, at 11-00 a.m. on Sunday, 23rd November 2008.
Rtn. V. Sriram, Director –Vocational Service of the Club explained the Scheme and introduced the beneficiaries to the gathering. He said that not many people are aware of such useful courses being available. He informed the gathering that the unemployed persons sponsored by the Club for the Course have greatly benefited and have now got jobs with a salary of Rs. 6000 per month, just after the training for three months.
Rtn. Veerramani appreciated the efforts of the Club to spread awareness about the useful courses available. He then distributed certificates to the beneficiaries on behalf of the Club.
