There is something for every child, teen and adult wheelchair-user.
Harrisburg, PA, December 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The days of boring wheelchair seats are gone.
People who use wheelchairs now have the opportunity to perk up their chair and let their personality shine.
Kristy Kramer, president of Kramer Enterprises, recently announced a new product line of Wheelchair Seat Covers.
“My teenage daughter uses a wheelchair and we were always frustrated that she had to spend so much time sitting in a clinical-looking, boring chair,” said Kramer. “She loves fashion and colors. Since her chairs always came with the standard black seat covers, we were always disappointed by the look of the chair.
“I couldn’t find any products through catalogs or online that would do her wheelchair and her personality justice. The few products I found were either outdated prints or very geriatric in nature,” Kramer added.
Kramer and her daughter began shopping for colorful and trendy fabrics and Kristy began designing the seat covers herself, improving on the design with each one she made. She finally perfected a cover with four removable hook-and-loop straps that allow each customer to adjust the position and slack of the cover for a perfect fit.
Soon, friends who were also wheelchair users began asking for their own seat covers. Kramer decided to market her line and solicited the advice of friends and other wheelchair users to zero in on the fabric patterns and textures they wanted.
“We offer something for every child, teen and adult,” remarked Kramer. “Our fabrics feature the latest pop culture images, as well as depicting sports themes, hobbies, florals, denim, stripes, plaids, you name it.
“If you want a seat cover with Hannah Montana or High School Musical, we have it. SpongeBob, camping, animal lovers, it’s all there. Are you a Penn State or New England Patriots fan? Again, we have it for you,” she added.
Kramer noted that all wheelchair seat covers are hand-crafted one by one. There is no mass production so every item receives attention to detail. The quality workmanship is fully guaranteed.
Wheelchair Seat Covers can be machine washed and dried. However, they are not medical products.
The Wheelchair Seat Covers are for decorative/fashion use only and not intended to improve, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
