Clarity Rolls out a Much Needed Transportation Management Solution for Mid-Tier Companies

Atlanta, GA, June 08, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Gainesville, Georgia-based company signed an agreement with the well established CarrierPoint TMS back in October of 2005. The agreement gave new life to The Vision Network TMS which went operational in January of 2006.

“We became aware of a significant need amongst our client base” said Jeff Linville, President & Co-Founder of Clarity. “These mid-tier companies didn’t have the huge transportation budgets of Fortune 500 Companies, but they had the very same needs in terms of technology. Unfortunately, the systems that were available to this mid-market were either too expensive, required too many IT or transportation management resources or just didn’t meet the functional requirements. That’s where we saw an opportunity and why we made the investment to purchase CarrierPoint.”

Under The Vision Network agreement, Clarity is able to provide its clients planning, execution, tracking and reporting of all their shipments as well as round-the-clock support, both from a technical and training standpoint. “We feel this is a completely different way of acquiring technology” said Linville.
