Social Networking with an Artistic Twist
Fort Lauderdale, FL, December 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- At 6pm on December 12, 2008, The Cummings Group will be opening theirs doors, removing their coats and ties and going primal. The agency represents eight artists and will be featuring their work in the confines of an art gallery setting complete with a primal drum circle and hors d'oeuvres and cocktails; a chance for local business owners, affluent art enthusiasts and the general public to socialize, network and have a good ole’ time.
Featuring the full color ‘emotional dream works’ of color blind (momochromacy) artist Jay Lonewolf Morales, South Beach Inspired ‘Latin-Deco’ artist Sid Daniels, The Angel Maker, sculpture artist, Todd Bittingham, unrecycleable waste sculpture artist, Jose Hurtado Zamudio, fine art painter Timothy Phillips, sculpture artist George Mahana, and photographer Alan Glueckert.
“The idea was developed because of my love of art and because I am an artist myself,” says John Cummings, owner of The Cummings Group, “Also because I am a business owner and it is because of the networking we have done over the last couple of months that has been getting us through this bad economy. I wanted to offer that same opportunity to others is an atmosphere that is fun and offers more than a typical meet and greet or your standard wine and cheese event.”
The Cummings Group and SunPay Payroll Processing hosted the Commerce Club on November 20, 2008, which netted over 120 people that danced and even participated in the primal drum circle, ate, drank, socialized and have a good time till the wee hours of the night. Comments from the night were that it was one of the best networking events they had ever been to since their club’s inception in 1974. Depending on the success of their opening night to the public on the 12th, The Cummings Group plans to continue to open their doors every other Friday at 6pm beginning again on January 9th, 2009.
The Cummings Group, located at 2703 E. Commercial Blvd, welcomes anyone that has a passion for art, is looking to gain further business through the power of networking and is looking for something fun to do on a Friday night to come join them. Come get primal. The event is free to attend. Additionally, other local businesses in the same plaza will be open their doors allowing attendees to walk to the other businesses and enjoy what they have to offer as well.
