About the Author

Susie Lawrence Boaz was born in Mountain View, Arkansas, and grew up with her older brother and younger sister in the small town of Fifty-Six. Susie married at a very young age and began a family, but after twenty-six years of marriage, she suffered the loss of her first husband. She remarried a wonderful, loving man, but shortly before their sixth wedding anniversary, Susie found herself alone once more. Through her writing, faith in God, and support from family and friends, she has begun to heal. Susie resides in Central Arkansas and spends most of her time enjoying her six grandchildren and writing about her life experiences.
