Operation Enduring Laughter

When comedians compare war stories Boston Comedy Festival founder and comedian Jim McCue actually has stories that come from the front lines.

Boston, MA, December 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Since 1999 Founder of the Boston Comedy Festival and comedian Jim McCue has been answering the question what’s it like entertaining the troops?

During a thirty day tour that took comedian Jim McCue on a world tour around the globe ending in Iraq Jim kept a journal to answer that very question. The book titled Embedded Comedian covers a sometimes funny sometimes poignant journey of a comedian embedded with our troops in places like a tunnel dug to keep the city of Sarajevo alive during the siege, getting stuck in Kyrgyzstan on route to Afghanistan, touring the death house then doing comedy at Abu Ghraib prison, entertaining the marines one month after the battle of Fallujah, having motors fired into the base in Ramadi or entertaining troops in Hospital in Anaconda. Jim McCue got the rare opportunity to eat sleep and joke around with our nations men and women in uniform and writes this straight forward book about his experience and adventures entertaining the US military.
