The fourth in her popular Alexandra Merritt Mystery Series, "Rough Ride in Vegas" is set against the backdrop of the National Finals Rodeo currently playing out in Las Vegas, and continues the saga of the feisty, redheaded Alex, who juggles the responsibilities as owner of a Las Vegas casino while she unravels the mystery of a very unexpected and determined killer.

Donna will continue her tradition of launching her latest release in Las Vegas with several book-signing appearances this month;

With four books now published in the Alexandra Merritt Mystery series, “The Last Two Aces in Las Vegas", "The Las Vegas Desert Flower”, “The Las Vegas Special" and now "Rough Ride in Vegas", Donna still finds that the story lines seem almost endless. “These are sort of backwards mysteries, like the old TV show, Colombo. You know right away who the killer is, the mystery comes in finding out what will happen to trip them up,” she says.

Donna is currently putting the final touches on a new novel, set in the backrooms and hidden hallways of the White House, with a release date planned for the summer of 2009.
