Orlando Company Sponsors Charity Poker Tournament

Orlando, FL, December 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Donkey Gear, an online poker apparel and accessories company based out of Orlando, is sponsoring The Nathaniel Foundation, which benefits the performing arts of the Nathaniel Center, in their fundraiser poker tournaments. The Nathaniel Foundation began hosting these tournaments back in the Spring of 2007. The tournaments were started by members of the foundation to raise funds in support of the performing arts at their center, and because of the popularity of the game and how it could be a fun event for the community. A tournament is hosted every other Monday night as well as the Friday of every other month, with an upcoming tournament falling on Monday, December 15th 7:00pm, at The Nathaniel Center in Texas. The event is open to the community and is free to play. Attractions include custom poker tables, a cash bar and food, as well as a silent auction and great prizes which include a progressive jackpot. “I am really excited to be working with The Nathaniel Foundation. I enjoy giving back to charitable causes as much as possible and the fact that they were using a poker tournament as a venue presented us with a great opportunity to contribute,” said Vern Toland, President of Donkey Gear. The Nathaniel Foundation is partnered with poker companies around the world to promote their brands and add value to their tournament and the player’s experience.
