SBS Group Sponsors First Annual Food Drive
Woodbridge, NJ, December 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- As part of its ongoing commitment to give back to the community, SBS Group sponsored its first annual food drive. SBS Group, a leading technology consulting firm, provides mid-market business solutions to companies along the East Coast.
“The holiday season is a special time for the SBS family,” says James R. Bowman, Jr., President of SBS Group. “I’m thrilled our employees take pride in making a difference in local communities. He continues, “This effort will benefit so many people at a time of increasing need.”
Local food pantries are experiencing extreme shortages with food supplies down and families seeking assistance increasing. SBS Group employees donated non-perishable items as well as monetary contributions. These donations helped two local food drive agencies: The Middlesex County Emergency Food Network and Philabundance. Throughout the months of October and November, food collection bins for nonperishable items were placed in each office where donations were dropped off by SBS employees.
