"We didn't want to just give lip service to being charitable, especially during this year of uncertainty" said Lysa Kustek, owner. "There are so many people who are in need this year. Though many of us know someone who needs to relax for health reasons -- many of us also know someone in need of medical services and perhaps they're in need of basics like food and shelter."
"To show how we can all make a difference in troubled times, we will be donating a percentage of all gift certificates sold through this holiday season to three very special charities - all on behalf of the purchaser and their gift recipient. Whether someone spends $100 or $1000 on a spa gift certificate, their gift purchase will help someone in need," Lysa said.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the American Red Cross are the 3 foundations that have been chosen this year. Lysa said encouragingly, "Together, we can help people served by these organizations, so those less fortunate can benefit by those making generous gift purchases."
