Timbercon Adds Scott Christian to Account Management Team
Timbercon adds defense specialist to Account Management team.
Lake Oswego, OR, December 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company providing a vast array of connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of Scott A. Christian as a Key Account Manager. Mr. Christian will be serving prime contractors in the military and defense industries, and will be based in Bend, Oregon.

Most recently, Mr. Christian served as Managing Partner for LumaCon, LLC in CA, where he was instrumental in the design and development of harsh environment fiber optic connector technology. After Molex purchased the intellectual property of LumaCon, Mr. Christian continued to be an active participant in sales training and application development in order to enhance awareness of the LumaCon technology. Prior to founding LumaCon, he was a Senior Product Manager for Glenair, Inc., responsible for growing the fiber optic product line. He brings additional qualifications with over nine years at ITT Cannon, advancing to the role of Fiber Optic Product Manager.
In addition to his vast fiber optic and defense industry experience, Mr. Christian earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Lewis and Clark College, located in Portland, Oregon.
