From Us 2 Us Magazine Spending Christmas with the Soldiers of the CSRA
Augusta, GA, December 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- 3 local businesses join together to honor local troops with a Christmas dinner and holiday celebration.
Bryant’s of Peace Personal Care Home and Adult Daycare services, From Us 2 Us magazine and Nu Creations Hair Salon will host a dinner celebration, for local troops stationed in the CSRA Area.
Cheryl Bryant of Bryant’s of peace, Mishlon Burns of From Us 2 Us magazine and Tenoia Rainey of Nu Creations Hair salon will be preparing a dinner for several US Army members stationed at Fort Gordon who have participated in several events to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer association of Augusta. These soldiers work so hard in service to our country, as well taking the time to help with community benefits, so we just felt it was our duty to take the time to give back to them, says Ms Burns. There are several soldiers that don't have the benefit of being with their families for the holidays, so if we could do a little something to lift their spirits, it would be our pleasure, says Ms Bryant. The event is being planned for 20 Dec 2008 and there will also be entertainment planned from local singers and dancers. They are planning a traditional holiday style dinner menu as well as many deserts and specialty dishes. The event is opened to any soldiers who may be in the area for the holidays on a space available basis.
