Carla Bonten Realty, Inc. Anticipates Promising 2009 Sales Season
Carla Bonten says, “I have seen an uptick in interest from Europeans recently. Our German real estate office has helped to generate a lot of inquiries about properties in Southwest Florida. Europeans see our “Sunshine Riviera” with its pristine beaches and sunny weather as a good investment."
Bonita Springs, FL, December 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Carla Bonten, owner of Bonita Springs-based Carla Bonten Realty Inc., anticipates a promising real estate sales season in 2009. Bonten says there are several early indications that point to a bright New Year including; renewed interest from European buyers, increased closed and pending sales of homes and condominiums; and a jump in real estate listings, showings and traffic.
Bonten says, “I have seen an uptick in interest from Europeans recently. Our German real estate office has helped to generate a lot of inquiries about properties in Southwest Florida. Europeans see our “Sunshine Riviera” with its pristine beaches and sunny weather as a good investment. With the recent volatility in the stock markets worldwide, many people are looking for a more tangible investment for their financial future. Everyone agrees that Florida is still a good investment no matter the economic conditions.”
In addition to the influx of potential European buyers, Bonten also is seeing a heightened interest from local buyers. She says more people are attending open houses and more people are requesting private showings of homes, condominiums and other properties that she has listed for sale.
Bonten says, “It’s not just an increase in showings. The jump in traffic is translating into an increase in sales, too. The fourth quarter of 2008 is going to be stronger than the prior quarters of this year and reflect a higher demand for real estate. Real estate prices in Southwest Florida are very reasonable, right now. We have a lot of new listings and many people are taking advantage of the affordable prices and low mortgage rates and deciding that now is the time to buy.”
Bonten also has seen an increase in the number of people wanting to sell their homes. In the past month, she has accepted many new listings and expects that pace to quicken in 2009.
She says, “Properties are starting to move and sellers are noticing. They see that now is the prime time to try and sell their home.”
Since 1998, Carla Bonten Realty Inc. has led the way serving the diverse needs of American and European clients seeking to purchase, sell, rent or auction their own piece of Southwest Florida. Bonten’s Southwest Florida listings include: Naples, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers Beach and Estero.
