Tennessee Author Releases Book - Promising Hope for Those in Crisis

Jonesborough, TN, December 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- According to international and local experts, the looming global economic crisis which began with the collapse of the financial sector could spread to all segments of society by the middle of next year.

As the worldwide crisis expands, people are desperately looking for hope, wherever they can find it. Unfortunately, according to recent studies, many have been unable to find it, and instead, are turning to destructive lifestyle choices to help cope with the fear and pain.

According to Two Faces in the Mirror, a new book by Dr. Tom Cannon, “We have an entire generation in crisis, who need to know that hope still exists for them and their family. Sadly, many people remain in the dark, concerning this matter, until it’s too late. If they only knew that hope is readily available for them, it would save many lives.

In this book, Dr. Cannon tackles the common struggles of humanity, and shows the reader how to overcome each of them. That’s the good news: no one has to remain in their broken or pain-filled condition forever.

Two Faces in the Mirror, has been haled as a roadmap to help people escape the frustrating pattern of personal pain that dominates their lives.

The timing of this book is excellent, given the present condition of the world. According to the publisher, this “self-help book from a Christian perspective” is already having a positive impact on its readers.

“People have legitimate reasons for their anger and confusion,” says Dr. Cannon. “it would be unfair then, to underestimate the degrees of suffering they have endured, or the impact personal tragedies have had upon them. However, to allow people to remain bound by the unfortunate events from the past that are consuming their lives at the present, would be an intolerable double-tragedy.”

Two Faces in the Mirror is being called “a must-read” by community leaders. Dr. Richard E. Williams acclaims it as “a masterfully written book … that will compel you to look inside of yourself, and see who you really are, and what you can become.” Dr. Gordon Aikin, of Muskegon, Michigan, stated, “(People) are becoming hardened and insensitive to things they would never have allowed years ago. I applaud the author's courage … and would especially recommend this book to (those) who want to do it right."

In Two Faces in the Mirror, Dr. Cannon implements biblically-based self-help techniques that can be applied by anyone, in any situation – with surprising results. While this book sends a strong message of compassion and hope, the author wastes no time unduly placating his readers. Rather, this hard-hitting, down-to-earth volume is written with one goal in mind – to help people escape the cycle of pain and downward negativity that dominates them, and lead them into a life of abundance and happiness.
