CEREALOG and FABRIC Software Making Waves Around the World
FABRIC sail design software, used by Incidences Sails, is providing sails to sailors out to win around the world races, or set distance speed records this year in mono-hulls, Maxi trimarans and trimaran Sodebo.
La Rochelle, France, December 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Fabric designed sails, are making a new around the world, solo, record attempt at the hands of Thomas Coville on his newly launched 32 meter Maxi Trimaran, Sobedo. His goal is beat the current standing record held by Francis Joyon of 57 days. In the meantime, he has set a new 24 hour speed record, 628,5 miles, (to be confirmed by the WSSRC) with an average speed of 23.5 knots www.sodebo-voile.com
This is not the first records battle between the two sailors. Just recently Francis Joyon, also using Fabric designed sails, on his maxi trimaran IDEC set a new Route de Discovery Transatlantic previously held by Thomas Coville.
While Sobedo is circling the globe, the FABRIC team has also been globe trotting in nautical related trade shows and sailing forums. During their presence at the Mets Trade show, CEREALOG met with designers, manufacturers, and sail industry parties from many countries, including their latest client from Russia.
Keeping up pace, CEREALOG is participating in the International Sailing Summit, a yearly forum of sailing industry leaders from around the globe www.iss2008.org
Immediately following the forum is the Paris Boat Show where again FABRIC is on hand, (Stand La Rochelle 1 - R - 61) to meet with sailmakers and show them how they too can design powerful sails to sail around the world or in their home waters.
