Marley & Me Takes Over Animal Radio® Airwaves Behind-the-Scenes with the Actors, Director & Trainers of the Soon-to-be Blockbuster
20th Century Fox presents Marley and Me - opening in theaters nationwide Christmas Day. Director David Frankel kicks-off a special Marley & Me tribute on the nationally syndicated Animal Radio® - which airs on 90+ AM-FM radio stations and XM Satellite Radio.
Los Angeles, CA, December 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The best-selling book adaptation stars Owen Wilson as John Grogan and Jennifer Anniston as Jennifer Grogan. David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) says his life parallels the best-selling book and directing the movie came easily.
John’s friend Sebastian is played by Eric Dane (Dr. Mark Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy). Dane tells Animal Radio® his character was written into the script and wasn’t in the original book. He also admits to sneaking his own dogs on set.
Marley’s trainer, Mathilde DeCagny shares lots of filming secrets with Animal Radio®. She says, “Between all the scenes, we used a total of 22 yellow labs. Most of the scenes required them to be ‘bad!’ You get your exercise training the already excitable Labrador.” She reports live from New York City - where one of the Marley’s just finished eating three Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches - just one of the rewards of show business.
“We’re very excited to have partnered with 20th Century Fox to bring listeners behind-the-scenes and VIP passes for an Advanced Screening of this Christmas gift.” says Animal Radio® Executive Producer Judy Francis.
Hear this special Marley and Me - Animal Radio® broadcast on XM Satellite Radio ch. 158 (America’s Talk) Saturday Dec. 20 at noon EST and again Sunday at 9 am EST, or on any of the 90+ AM/FM radio affiliates, including KOST 103.5 Los Angeles. See more listening options at http://AnimalRadio.com
