After many months and much work the Redfern Oval site was completed recently by Hansen Yuncken for Sydney City Council. Leda Vannaclip were pleased to work with Co-ordinated Landscapes on the supply and installation of the 2km’s of gates and fencing for the site. Sydney, Australia, December 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Much was learnt on the job as it was a unique design to use flat bar in gates and fencing where steel RHS is the norm. The amount of raked fencing to follow the ground contour was also a challenge as in effect there were 7 different fence types to manufacture, track and install.
Due to the amount of design work involved, there are few other companies in Australia capable of meeting the requirements. “As a result of this job, Leda has become a specialist in customized steel fencing which we hope to build on in the future,” reports Richard Matthews CEO of Leda. Already Leda is quoting on similar jobs in the area.
