The Basement Doctor Helps the Mid-Ohio Foodbank

Columbus, OH, December 15, 2008 --(PR.com)-- "Twenty-nine percent of central Ohioans seeking food from the Mid-Ohio Foodbank have had to choose between paying for food or shelter. An amazing forty-four percent have had to make an agonizing choice between food and utilities. And many of our neighbors seeking help at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank have jobs and go to work everyday" said Ron Greenbaum 'The Basement Doctor'.

After learning about their neighbors' struggles to simply put food on the table, The Basement Doctor organization is committed to getting involved in the fight against hunger in the central Ohio community.

To help put food on the table, The Basement Doctor's Home Improvement Center (located at the corner of Rt 256 & Livingston in Reynoldsburg - Open 10am - 6pm Monday thru Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday) is being used as a collection point for non-perishable food donations.

Food collections are happening now.
